The District Testimony Service for Rev Dan Balsdon, minister in our circuit will be held on Sunday 7th February at 6pm, streamed direct to our Circuit YouTube channel. Volunteer Vacancy – Circuit Meeting Secretary

West Sussex (Coast & Downs) Circuit is looking for a new Circuit Meeting Secretary to work with the Superintendent Minister, Rev Ian Suttie, to deal with the agendas, minutes and correspondence relating to the running of the Circuit and Leadership Team meetings.  The work involves drafting agendas, sending out papers relating to the relevant meeting, attending meetings, taking and distributing minutes, dealing with correspondence, booking meeting venues, etc.  This is a voluntary post and would suit someone with a bit of spare time, computer and basic computer skills (the majority of the paperwork is sent out by email) and the…

Change begins with a bicycle

Rob Mahoney is a trustee of All We Can and his wife is a member of Goring Methodist Church. To raise money for All We Can’s 20/21 campaign “Change begins with a bicycle” Rob will cycle to all 15 churches in our circuit using one of the Ugandan bicycles. The start date will be 2nd November and Rob hopes to complete the ride in 2 and a half weeks. Below is a poster to publicize this amongst your members. Circuit Welcome Service

Sunday 6th September at 6:30pm Welcoming Rev’s Ian Couchman, Helen Higgin Botham and John Scrivens to the circuit team and including the recommissioning of our circuit lay workers Preacher: Rev Dr David Hinchliffe, Chair of District. Due to the expectation more than 100 may well attend, we will be streaming the service through YouTube and encourage all in the circuit who have an internet connection to participate in the service through the YouTube link. This will be our first experience of streaming in this way, and so may be a little experimental(!) but if all goes to plan should work!…
