The Rev'd Ian Suttie will be retiring from ministry in August 2022. Recently the circuit stewards and invitation committee met with Rev'd Rosemarie Clarke. She has accepted our invitation to be the Superintendent of the West Sussex (Coast and Downs) Circuit from the 1st September 2022. She will also be the minister based at Rustington Methodist Church.
On Boxing Day we'll be holding a Circuit Service at Westergate Methodist Church. come and join us for a morning of Christmas worship and continue the festive celebrations as a circuit family together.
We will be holding a circuit Communion service on Christmas Eve starting at 11:15pm, and finishing just after midnight. Members of our circuit staff team will lead the service together on zoom and members from congregations and communities across the circuit are warmly invited to join us as we watch for the arrival of Christmas Day and celebrate the birth of Christ together. Why not add to the atmosphere of the occasion by lighting some candles around you, and perhaps turning down/off some of the lights wherever you are worshipping from. Mission trip to Ghana from Saturday 9th April to Thursday 21st April 2022 Ciruclated via Circuit Minister Rev Frank Okai-Sam, who is himself Ghanaan. The overall objective is to explore the faith in the Ghanaian context by interacting with both the clergy and lay in the urban and rural settings during the Easter celebration and to understand the concept of mission and evangelism.
